So then, brethren, stand firm and hold to the traditions which you were taught by us, either by word of mouth or by letter (2 Thess. 2:15). Guard what has been entrusted to you. Avoid the godless chatter and contradictions of what is falsely called knowledge, for by professing it some have missed the mark as regards faith (1 Tim. 6:21-22).

Religious Orders and Apostolates

The Groups listed below represent a fraction of the worthy orders and organizations in which one might find a life of truth, beauty and goodness in Christ in service to God, Church and the world.

The evangelical witness of the religious life clearly manifests to men the primacy of the love of God; it does this with a force for which We must give thanks to the Holy Spirit. In all simplicity—following the example given by Our venerated predecessor, John XXIII, on the eve of the Council(1)—We would like to tell you what hope is stirred up in Us, as well as in all the pastors and faithful of the Church, by the spiritual generosity of those men and women who have consecrated their lives to the Lord in the spirit and practice of the evangelical counsels. Evangelica Testificatio On the Renewal of The Religious Life According to the Teaching of the Second Vatican Council.

The Labouré Society exists to provide financial assistance and spiritual support to men and women who must resolve student loans in order to pursue their vocation to priesthood and/or religious life in the Catholic Church.

APOSTOLATES

The apostolate of the laity derives from their Christian vocation and the Church can never be without it. Sacred Scripture clearly shows how spontaneous and fruitful such activity was at the very beginning of the Church (cf. Acts 11:19-21; 18:26; Rom. 16:1-16; Phil. 4:3). Apostolicam Actuositatem Decree on the Apostolate of The Laity
