So then, brethren, stand firm and hold to the traditions which you were taught by us, either by word of mouth or by letter (2 Thess. 2:15). Guard what has been entrusted to you. Avoid the godless chatter and contradictions of what is falsely called knowledge, for by professing it some have missed the mark as regards faith (1 Tim. 6:21-22).

March for Life 2017 Victoria, BC.

A very well attended event. Rain ceased in time for the March and gathering at the Provincial Legislature. In his concluding remarks, the Master of Ceremonies drew attention to the fact that the sun broke through brightly as the concluding prayer was being said.

The 10th Annual March was conducted in a peaceful manner. The Archdiocese of Vancouver, the Diocese of Victoria, the Fellowship of Blessed John Henry Newman (Ordinariate) and mainland protestant communities were well represented by clergy. Mainland and Island Catholic high schools were also well represented. Two or three male pro-abortion counter-protesters maneuvered themselves into the front middle of the gathering with makeshift signs. The gathering proceeded without incident.

For the favourable weather, thanks be to God for prayers answered. Thanks be to God for the intercession of our Blessed Mother Mary, ever-virgin.
