So then, brethren, stand firm and hold to the traditions which you were taught by us, either by word of mouth or by letter (2 Thess. 2:15). Guard what has been entrusted to you. Avoid the godless chatter and contradictions of what is falsely called knowledge, for by professing it some have missed the mark as regards faith (1 Tim. 6:21-22).

Disorder of Malta. Defilement and Fleece.

It would seem that the Order of Malta and Development & Peace have something in common. Is it fair to say that both organizations have been corrupted by the world, the flesh and the devil?

It seems that far too many Catholic relief agencies—one is too many—have lost sight of the Church's primary mission: interceding for the salvation of souls.

A lack of a sense of sin results in senseless behaviour that undermines the mission of the Church.

Meanwhile, these so-called "aid" agencies are permitted to fleece the flock of Christ and infect people's lives with death. They are no different from the secular "aid" agencies that mislead donors and which spread the culture of death among the disadvantaged and those who are most vulnerable.

Pray that groups which call themselves Catholic may be(come again) exemplary in their witness to Jesus Christ.
Exclusive: Order of Malta projects distributed abortifacients, says leaked report
The 2016 report also said Malteser International's official policy was 'inconsistent with Church teaching'

A 2015 internal report into Malteser International found that some projects were distributing contraceptives which could cause abortion.

The report, seen by the Catholic Herald, was written by three leading bioethicists: Dr Peter Weir, Professor Luke Gormally and Professor John Haas. It was sent to hundreds of Order of Malta members around the world.

The Order of Malta, of which Malteser International (MI) is part, commissioned the report in 2015, after concerns were raised about possible distribution of contraceptives by MI projects.

The report’s authors stated: “We have been informed that MI supplies Levonorgestrel to rape victims on request and intramuscular (IM) Depo-Provera for birth spacing where NFP [natural family planning, which the Church approves] is deemed inappropriate.”

Both substances, the authors noted, “could have an abortifacient as well as a contraceptive mode of action”. MI’s stated policy was not to distribute potential abortifacients.

"A multitude of wise men is the salvation of the world(.)—Wisdom 6:24. Readers are welcome to make rational and responsible comments. Any comment that 1) offends human dignity and/or 2) which constitutes an irrational attack on the Catholic Faith will not go unchallenged. If deemed completely stupid, such a comment will most assuredly not see the light of day. Them's the rules. Don't like 'em? Move on.
