We are not just material beings, but spiritual persons with a need for meaning, purpose, and fulfillment that transcends the visible confines of this world. This longing for transcendence is a longing for truth, goodness, and beauty. Truth, goodness, and beauty are called the transcendentals of being, because they are aspects of being. Everything in existence has these transcendentals to some extent. God, of course, as the source of all truth, goodness, and beauty, has these transcendentals to an infinite degree. Oftentimes, he draws us to himself primarily through one of these transcendentals. St. Augustine, who was drawn to beauty in all its creaturely forms, found the ultimate beauty he was seeking in God, his creator, the beauty “ever ancient, ever new.”―Sister Gabriella Yi, O.P.

Lauering the Boom

Thank the Good Lord for the Sacrament of Penance! The world, which is to say the mainstream media constructed world, offers little in the way of Truth, justice, reason and mercy.

Matt Lauer has been under fire for allegedly bungling the Commander-in-Chief Forum interviews with Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. Could it be that the invective hurled against Lauer is merely an attempt to distract voters from Hillary's problematic and confusing behaviour?

Lauer, it seems, is the chosen scapegoat du jour.

The mainstream meddlers, unable to openly admit their fondness for Hillary, for to do so would confirm their bias, have shot the messenger and ignored, once again, the subject matter.

Media Damage Control
The tired tactics of the MSMedia—tactics which apparently still work on the mushy minds of low-information voters, which is to say voters who actually lap up the fiction fed to them by the MSMedia—have been exposed by their attempted assassination of one of their own.

Mr. Lauer's principal crime was that he facilitated a forum wherein attendees and a nation could witness the presidential candidates with a little less varnish. It seems that the MSMedia and the Clinton campaign are very uncomfortable with Lauer's approach.

A little birdie told me.
Apparently, foreign donors are not the only ones who have been caught whispering in Hillary Clinton's ear.

Questions have arisen regarding Hillary's alleged use of an earpiece to prompt her. Hillary's habitual use of an earpiece, which is to say her prior use of in-ear technology to prompt her, was confirmed in a 2009 email (released in 2015):
UNCLASSIFIED U.S. Department of State Case No. F-2014-20439 Doc No. C05766167 Date: 07/31/2015

Did u take your earpiece or do I need to get it?
Even if Hillary regularly uses an in-ear technology to provide assistance to her, said assistance apparently doesn't prevent Clinton from getting confused during rallies and rare-as-Snorlax interviews.

Where Trump is open and obvious with his insults that call into question his opponent's character, which is not to say his approach merits approval, the Clinton campaign is a well oiled machine that uses obfuscation and character assassination with cruel elegance and ease.

The Clinton machine and its media allies initiated their rapid response teams to move attention away from Clinton's distracted performances toward the myth they have spent so very many hundreds of millions of dollars to construct.

It is no secret that Hillary is not at ease with formal interviews. Since her campaign team and their allies cannot blame the obvious opponent for her difficulties, the only one else left in the room to take the heat is, in this instant, the interviewer.

Sadly, there are a few among the Catholic media who demonstrate a similar Clintonian approach when confronted with a challenge to their agenda or imagine a threat to their character. By now, most of us are well aware of the Rosica v. Domet conflagration which pitted a Catholic media mogul against a blogger who merely documented then challenged Fr. Rosica's public comments.
