Give a man enough rope to hang himself, and he will. That is, a talkative over confident man guilty of subversive activity for which he is proud to have participated in, if given enough slack and opportunity, he will indict himself. Belgian Cardinal Godfried Danneels, unable to resist the temptation to take credit for having inspired havoc in the Church, has outed himself as an enemy of the Church of Christ.
2 Timothy 4:1-5
I charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus who is to judge the living and the dead, and by his appearing and his kingdom: preach the word, be urgent in season and out of season, convince, rebuke, and exhort, be unfailing in patience and in teaching. For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own likings, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander into myths. As for you, always be steady, endure suffering, do the work of an evangelist, fulfil your ministry.
Further serious concerns are being raised about Cardinal Godfried Danneels, one of the papal delegates chosen to attend the upcoming Ordinary Synod on the Family, after the archbishop emeritus of Brussels confessed this week to being part of a radical "mafia" reformist group opposed to Benedict XVI.

(Danneels) called it a "mafia" club that bore the name of St. Gallen. The group wanted a drastic reform of the Church, to make it "much more modern", and for Cardinal Jorge Bergoglio to head it. The group ... has been documented in Austen Ivereigh's biography of Pope Francis, The Great Reformer.
(A)mong the others who made up the group according to the book were the Dutch bishop Adriaan Van Luyn, the German cardinals Walter Kasper and Karl Lehman, the Italian cardinal AchilleSilvestrini and the English cardinal Basil Hume.—Marco Tosatti [Senior Religion Correspondent] La Stampa, September 24, 2015 at Rorate Caeli.
But because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold, not hot, I will begin to vomit thee out of my mouth.
