So then, brethren, stand firm and hold to the traditions which you were taught by us, either by word of mouth or by letter (2 Thess. 2:15). Guard what has been entrusted to you. Avoid the godless chatter and contradictions of what is falsely called knowledge, for by professing it some have missed the mark as regards faith (1 Tim. 6:21-22).

Reality Descending?

In the film Jupiter Ascending (2015), certain human families that originated on a distant world (Ores) millions of years earlier, families such as the Abrasax (variant of Abraxas, a gnostic deity?) portrayed in the film, operate large corporations that seed planets with human life. The owners of the farm planets are considered royalty possessing immense power and wealth. The Earth is one such farm planet among thousands seeded by Abrasax Industries.

“Once the population exceeds a planet’s ability to sustain it,
it’s considered ripe for harvest.”—Stinger Apini (played by Sean Bean).

"Like butchering a herd of cattle," human beings on the seeded planets are harvested and refined into a substance which is used to extend life.

Mila Kunis plays the character Jupiter Jones, a young woman whose DNA constitutes a “Recurrence” of the same DNA of the murdered matriarch Saraphi, the Sovereign of House Abrasax. In the film, Recurrence is akin to reincarnation and, once her DNA identity is proven, entitles Jupiter to assume the position and power of the former title holder, Saraphi.

Jupiter is shocked to learn from another Abrasax sibling, the daughter Kalique (Tuppence Middleton), that the Sovereign was murdered. Balem, the eldest sibling, stands to lose his inheritance if Kunis' character manages to claim the title of Sovereign of House Abrasax.

Jupiter is not anything like the Abrasax siblings, having been raised by her Earth-human mother and extended family in humble surroundings (on Earth) after the murder of her father during a home invasion. Jupiter has no intention of participating in the diabolical activity of Abrasax Industries.

Balem Abrasax  (Eddie Redmayne), who is currently in possession of the Earth, is confronted by Kunis’ character Jupiter. After claiming title to Earth by visiting Ores, the original human home world where bureaucrats confirm her genetic identity, Jupiter ("Saraphi reborn") refuses to allow Balem to harvest Earth for the youth serum.

Hold a mirror up to current events.

In the dialogue below, excerpted from the film, change the character Balem’s name to Planned Parenthood. Like Abrasax Industries, Planned Parenthood converts human lives into dollars. For Planned Parenthood, pre-born human lives "are merely a resource waiting to be converted into capital," i.e., profit.

Jupiter Ascending

—Jupiter confronts Balem—
Balem: My mother taught me what was necessary to rule in this universe.
Jupiter: Like... killing people?
Balem: I CREATE LIFE!!!... and I destroy it. ... Life is an act of consumption, Jupiter. To live is to consume. ... Now, the human beings on your planet are merely a resource waiting to be converted into capital, and this entire enterprise is just a small part in a vast and beautiful machine defined by evolution designed to a single purpose—to create profit.
Jupiter: If that’s what your mother taught you, then I can see why you hated her.
Balem: I loved my mother.
Jupiter: And yet you’re trying to kill me.
Balem: My mother made me understand that every human society is a pyramid and that some lives will always matter more than others. It is better to accept this than to pretend it isn’t true.
Jupiter: Is that why you killed her?
Balem: (striking Jupiter on the face) HOW DARE YOU!!!
Evil attempts to invert reality. Evil redefines reality in its own image. The only way evil can carry on its agenda of death is to cloak it's operations in lies and convince others that evil is good and good is evil. Evil cannot tolerate being exposed for what it is, so when it is confronted with the truth it lashes out and demonizes anyone who exposes and opposes the grave injustice of abortion... or genocide or euthanasia or human trafficking or embryonic stem cell research or... .

For what does it profit a man, to gain the whole world and forfeit his life?—St. Mark 8:36.

Speaking of profit... .

Planned Parenthood reported more than $127 million (USD) in excess revenue, and over $1.4 billion in net assets. In fiscal year 2013-2014, Planned Parenthood was provided with more than $528 million – or 41 percent of its total revenue – in taxpayer funds in the form of government grants, contracts, and Medicaid reimbursements.—Dr. Susan Berry
