So then, brethren, stand firm and hold to the traditions which you were taught by us, either by word of mouth or by letter (2 Thess. 2:15). Guard what has been entrusted to you. Avoid the godless chatter and contradictions of what is falsely called knowledge, for by professing it some have missed the mark as regards faith (1 Tim. 6:21-22).

Christus resurrexit! Resurrexit vere!

The most merciful, most true, most beauty and most good gift a priest can give to his flock is the Holy Mass celebrated faithfully according to the tradition of the Church, free of abuse and personal bias, reverently and conscious of his duty to hand on the Gospel without compromise.

Thus, the people will know they are loved by God and called to live a life of holiness in conformity with the design God intended for all people. For the Lord said:
A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; even as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another. St. John 13:34-35
and:
If you love me, you will keep my commandments. And I will pray the Father, and he will give you another Counselor, to be with you for ever, even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him; you know him, for he dwells with you, and will be in you. St. John 14:15-17
May the Risen Lord Jesus Christ grant to every priest, and all of us this holy Easter season, a mind oriented to the joy of the Resurrection, a joy that calls everyone to the mission entrusted to the Church:
Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, to the close of the age. St. Matthew 28:19-20
Jesus has the words of eternal life, and we have believed and have come to know that He is the Holy One of God (St. John 6:68-69). Confident of God's love for us, we are faithful to Jesus' commands. His truth and His mercy fill us with renewed hope now and in the life hereafter.

Our hope is with the risen Saviour of all people, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, known most wonderfully and celebrated most reverently in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass at the hands of any one of Jesus' beloved holy priests.

Christus resurrexit! Resurrexit vere!
Christ is risen! Truly, He is risen!
